Biography

Huang Weiqing received his doctoral degree from Peking Union Medical College in 1996. He is a Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He is a member of the Youth Committee of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and an invited reviewer for the Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine (Electronic Edition). He has practiced plastic surgery for a total of 30 years at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and at the current Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He is currently a renowned expert in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He received specialized training at Harvard University in the United States and the School of Medicine of Juntendo University in Tokyo, Japan, in aesthetic plastic surgery of the face and neck, breast aesthetic plastic surgery, body contouring and sculpting, and plastic surgical repair of facial paralysis. He has published more than 100 SCI-indexed and core journal articles in China and abroad.
